After 19 incredible years nurturing and safeguarding the most vulnerable children in Kibera, we're absolutely thrilled to announce a monumental leap forward! In 2024, the Kibera Children's Centre moved into a brand-new home, a bigger, safer, and more vibrant space designed to embrace and empower every abandoned child who desperately needs our love and care.
For nearly two decades, our previous location was a testament to the resilience and dedication of our incredible team and the children who filled its halls. But as our family grew and the needs became more complex, it became clear: we needed a space that could truly match the boundless potential we see in these amazing kids. Our new center isn't just a building; it's a living, breathing sanctuary, meticulously designed to wrap each child in comfort, security, and opportunity.
This move is a game-changer, directly addressing the everyday challenges faced by children growing up in difficult circumstances. With expanded facilities, we're now able to offer so much more:
